where nature renews itself ...

Colored scents
that fill the air
as drowsy insects hum around
in the meadow
is the place of secret magic
where nature alone
renews itself

Your day lilies are so beautiful...so many colors and each so precious!

I love that you use your watering cans. I do my pots this way as well...I think they must love that gentle soaking. And it's a great time to see how they are doing :)

Thank you for a lovely comment today.

hi jane ~ I think the plants like a gentle watering too ~ they seem so refreshed after the scorching heat. the birds have been taking turns in the birdbaths splashing about with nice fresh cool water ♥

Deb, thank you for your comment today. You have a lovely blog. I like watering our gardens by hand, too, it allows me time to really see them and appreciate what's growing. I enjoyed reading about your Sparrow's Garden.

Your lilies are beautiful, Deb! One of my favourite "chores" is to water the garden. :)

Have a lovely weekend! xo
