Thankful {things I love} Thursday...

The big snowstorm didn't happen ...
just lots of wet, slushy snow ...
& hungry squirrels happy that all the feeders are full :-)

From the February Garden ...

I try and save my bouquets as long as possible by keeping the water fresh & cutting and re-cutting the stems often until they are only tall enough to stand in a mug of water :-)
One of the reasons I love daisies so much ... they last for weeks and weeks.
The french pussy willow bush in our garden is full of fluffy little puffs ~ oh I love pussy willow & having something new and blooming in the garden in February is a bonus !

With a bucket full of tall stems, I began clipping away ...
and filled in all the empty spaces in the vases with pussy willow branches  ♥
A garden
 is a grand teacher.
It teaches
patience
and careful watchfulness;
it teaches
industry
and thrift;
above all
it teaches
entire trust

Rose Garlands ...

My friend June recently shared a wonderful idea creating rose garlands.
I save everything, & the beautiful roses my son gave me for my Birthday had dried and were in a bowl sitting on the dining room table.
So for  Valentine's Day, I strung a few dried roses on twine and hung them from the dining room mirror ... so pretty!
Thank you June for sharing this sweet idea ♥

Full Snow Moon Sunday ...

Hello ...
Happy Full Snow Moon ...
The snow was heavy making our walk through the woods hard trekking today ...
Archer helped plowing through the snow ahead of us :-)
The snow sparkled like diamonds ...
And the sky - the most gorgeous blue ♥
Wishing you New Moon energy!
